Nonlinear and unbalanced loads introduce distortions to the power network in form of harmonics asymmetric load conditions. Through rising penetration residential renewable plants, energy is fed back into grid. By shaping output those converters can be mitigated. The technique shunt active filtering allows instantaneous compensation a dedicated nonlinear load, by measuring its distorted consumption. goal this article present an extension method which compensate for given area utilizing advanced metering infrastructure smart Given unit, voltage measurements are collected from neighboring consumers. model distribution line, linear Kalman filter estimation phase currents. These values replace measurements, compensating line currents, quality transformer improved. Analyzing based approach against real world like scenarios elaborating robustness shows potential applicability.
